A home should not forget everything its owners learn.

Potomac Lux is building a Home Record and home-operations layer that helps homeowners preserve useful context, make clearer decisions, and coordinate what happens next.

Company overview

What Potomac Lux does

Potomac Lux helps homeowners keep important home information connected over time: systems, maintenance, repairs, documents, projects, evidence, decisions, and completed work.

The free Home Record is the product entry point. When a homeowner wants hands-on help, Potomac Lux can coordinate the next conversation or project while specialist work remains with the appropriate contractor.

The long-term idea is simple: a home should become easier to understand as more verified history accumulates, not harder.

Why it exists

Home services are fragmented. A roofing company knows the roof job. An HVAC company knows the service call. A realtor knows the transaction. The homeowner is usually the only person expected to connect the history across all of them.

Potomac Lux is designed to become that continuity layer for the home.

Founder

Potomac Lux was founded by Rafael Michelena in the Washington, D.C. region. His background spans digital product work, communications, design, content, and operational systems. Potomac Lux grew from a practical question: why does a house worth hundreds of thousands of dollars have less organized operational memory than many much simpler assets?
